Artwork Statement

The work "Bug" is part of a series of concepts referred to as "And They Shall Take Root Wherever the Soil Goes", centered around the theme of "‘We take birth from soil'. "Bug" is comprised of two distinct phases: phase 1 encompasses writing practices and visual artworks (2024), while phase 2 transitions into the development of immersive theater (2025).

This work reflects the artist's beliefs regarding the connections between the soul, the interplay of life and death, and the discourse with the sacred. The artist posits that souls do not disappear but rather undergo a transformation between bodies to comprehend their individual lessons. Whether designated as God or Bug, both entities hold equal significance in shaping the world; the disparity lies solely in the terminology and the missions of the soul.

The artwork also embodies contemplations on societal responsibilities, the challenges individuals encounter when relinquishing control, inquiries into accountability, and the perpetual recurrence of birthing cycles within the artist's interpretation.
